It's HOKA UTMB Mont-Blanc !
From August 26 to September 1, 2024, the HOKA UTMB Mont-Blanc will host nine thrilling races, including the renowned UTMB World Series Finals. Over 10,000 runners from around the world will gather at Place du Triangle de l'Amitié in Chamonix, ready to embark on their epic journeys to the powerful sounds of Vangelis.
Join us in celebrating the pinnacle of trail running as the world's top athletes tackle the breathtaking trails around the Mont-Blanc massif.
GEORGE CELEBRATES TRAIL RUNNING
August is such an important month for trail running, the moment when eyes turn towards the mythic Mont Blanc.
MUT by UTMB is part of the UTMB World Series, and therefore we want to bring a bite of the HOKA UTMB Mont-Blanc spirit to George. During this month, several activities, prizes, social runs and athlete presentations will be hosted for free for the local community.
MUT KLIP Challenge
This is where it gets fun and interesting. To help understand and explain the UTMB Running Stone scoring system we will have the MUT KLIP Challenge in George this August. The concept is simple, the more KLIPPE you earn during these challenges the higher your ranking in the Lotto to win some of the cool prizes up for grabs.
Monday's GTR Social Runs = 2 KLIPPE
Thursday's GTR Time Trial = 1 KLIP
8km GTR FKT Route = 1 KLIP
20km GTR FKT Route = 2 KLIPPE
40km GTR FKT Route = 5 KLIPPE
You need to join the MUT by UTMB Strava Club as well as the GTR Strava Club to be eligible for this challenge and win some of the prizes.
