Sales period:

Registrations for 2025 MUT by UTMB will be open on the 25th July 2024. UTMB Index holders will have access to a 48 hours priority window which will guarantee them the best value for the race.

Priority Registration Window for UTMB Index holders will open on the 23rd July 2024 at 14.00h CEST.

Minimum age:

Runners of 14 years old or more on the 31st of December 2025 can register to MUT Lite. Runners of 18 years old or more on the 31st of December 2025 can register to MUT Challenge. Runners of 18 years old or more on the 31st of December 2025 can register to MUT Marathon. Runners of 18 years old or more on the 31st of December 2025 can register to MUT 60. Runners of 20 years old or more on the 31st of December 2025 can register to MUT 100. Runners of 20 years old or more on the 31st of December 2025 can register to MUT Miler.

Age categories:

In order to give fair recognition to high level athletes and to ensure a fair management of entry applications, we reserve places for elite athletes according to their Performance Index in the category of the race they chose to compete. Elite runners must register during the registration period. No registration will be accepted after the deadline. If the distance is lottery based, the elite runners must register at the same time as other athletes. Once a distance is sold out, the event organiser has the right to refuse an elite registration. All elites must register to a race at least 60 days before the race.

a) To another runner: Registration is personal. However, it is possible to transfer a registration to someone else until 3 weeks before the opening of the first day of bib distribution (2nd May 2024) provided that the runner who will benefit from the registration transfer also meets the entry conditions listed above. A 300 ZAR transfer fee applies. Once the recipient has accepted and completed the transfer of entry fee to the original owner of the registration, the original owner process the transfer on Easy Reg. The new owner will have to pay the 300ZAR for the new registration to be valid. Process for transfer to someone else: Go on Easyreg dashboard, look for MUT registration, click on Transfer Registration and follow the instructions.

b) To another race of the same event: It is possible to transfer a registration to a shorter distance until 3 weeks distribution (2nd May 2024) before the event and in the limit of places available. In this case, no refund will be made. The event organiser must be contacted directly via email. It is also possible to ask to transfer a registration to a longer distance but the request will not be automatically accepted and will be at the discretion of the race director.

Transfers are only available is the new distance is not sold out.

Only available for distances falling under 50K category and above: MUT Miler, MUT100, MUT60, MUT45
